An emergency team of 11 staff was dispatched to Orkhon province on 19 Nov. 17 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the province since the first case was confirmed on 17 November.
Col. D.Baterdene, Head of the Training and Advocacy Office of the Disaster Prevention Department of NEMA, stated that patients are treated at NCCD and 409 people identified as contacts have been transferred to isolation facilities. The province is now on a three-day complete lockdown. Food and other essential supplies are being delivered to households.
