The ministry says that amendments to the Minerals Law have been developed to eradicate legal gaps, overlaps, and violations. Articles in the amendments include changes to regulations on environmental impact assessments, petroleum, petroleum products, and more.
In addition to amendments to the Minerals Law, related changes are also being proposed for the Corporate Income Tax Law and the Law on Administrative and Territorial Units.
