The number of people who are interested in purchasing and trading cryptocurrency is rapidly increasing in Mongolia. Ard Holdings hosted the CryptoNation Inaugural Forum from December 1 to 2 to talk more about this emerging market.
The forum was attended by Bitcoin News writer Sterlin Lujan, founding partner at Steppe LLC B. Gerelmaa, CEO of Trade.mn B. Gantig, Member of Parliament L. Enkh-Amgalan, owner of Bananacoin Anna Guncheva, and other specialist who shared their knowledge on cryptocurrency.
Minister of Foreign Affairs D. Tsogtbaatar stated, “Bitcoin is a new business opportunity and blockchain is the new technology. The digital world is becoming reality today. I propose establishing a digital embassy and appointing digital ambassadors.” CEO of Ard Holdings Ch. Ganhuyag noted, “The government’s policy on bitcoin and cryptocurrency should be well-defined. Parliament’s Economic Standing Committee plans to host a public hearing on bitcoin this week.”
Sterlin Lujan said, “Bitcoin is for everyone and there is so much potential in Mongolia. There is no need to invest too much money in bitcoin and to experience massive loss. When you lose your money, you take full responsibility and do not blame any organization for it. Also, the government shouldn’t be involved in regulating bitcoin, because it is a technological innovation.”
