The regular meeting of the cabinet was held on January 10, 2024. During the meeting, S.Byambatsogt, Minister of Road and Transport Development, presented about transferring some domestic flights to “Buyant-Ukhaa” airport. And negotiation with the Japanese authorities about this was approved during the cabinet meeting.
It is considered that transferring some domestic flights from Chinggis Khaan International Airport to Buyant Ukhaa airport for a certain period has an importance in organizing international and local passenger and cargo flow smoothly, to create opportunities for convenient and quick services for citizens, and to provide specific support to airline companies during summer.
