With support from the Presidential Office, scholars and researchers at the Institute of Linguistics and Literature and the Institute of Informatics worked out a great explanatory dictionary of Mongolian language between December of 2014 and the same month of 2015. Then, the dictionary has been transmitted into the electronic version.
The Mongolian language dictionary application contains some 60 thousand head words, over 80 thousand collocations and combined words, said Tsagaan. The application could be updated.
“By entering the www.mongoltoli.mn website, consumers can add new words to the dictionary. Furthermore, the application will be enriched as a joint intellectual creation,” he emphasized.
