The first meeting of the Joint commission for bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and Indonesia was held on 21st of October 2015 in Jakarta Indonesia. The commission was co-chaired by Mr. A.M. Fachir, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia and Mr. D.Gankhuyag, State secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
During the meeting two sides have discussed thoroughly on the steps to be taken to further enhance the bilateral relations in the field of trade, economy, investment, education, culture, technical cooperation and other sectors. Â International and regional cooperation issues were also reviewed at this meeting.
Indonesian side has kindly agreed to consider the request of the Mongolian side for adding Mongolia to the list of countries eligible for applying a Visa on Arrival (VOA).
