CAREC Investment Forum is scheduled to be held in Shangri-La Hotel on September 24th.
The investment forum will give CAREC member countries the opportunity to
- identify ways to improve the investment climate;
- attract interest from national and foreign private sector companies -- developers, financiers, technology and solution providers - to invest in the CAREC region; and
- develop concrete and innovative solutions with Asian Development Bank (ADB), the private sector, government agencies, and development partners to attract investments from potential investors within and CAREC and other industrialized countries.
The Forum will bring together prominent international and national investors who will share their insights on how to identify and carry out good investments, and CAREC high-level government officials who will present business opportunities and priority sectors for investments in their respective countries. International private sector investors will have an opportunity to interact with high-level government officials, domestic and international private companies, carrier and forwarder associations in the CAREC region, and multilateral development institutions. The Forum provides a truly unique opportunity to gain fresh insights whilst networking with possible business partners in Mongolia and other CAREC countries and like-minded international investors.
Through the forum, Mongolia and other CAREC member countries will develop deeper partnerships with ADB, the private sector, government agencies, and other development partners.
The forum is co-organized by ADB and the Erdenes Mongol LLC with the sponsorship of CAREC and support of the Business Council of Mongolia.
Interestingly, the honorable guests of the forum are Prime Minister of Mongolia H.E. Ch.Saihanbileg and the President of ADB Mr. Takehiko Nakao.
