Total 1286 cases registered in Mongolia

13,621 PCR tests were made on January 3, and 23 resulted positive to Covid-19. Total 1286 cases of Covid-19 registered in Mongolia. New cases registered from the 2 passengers who arrived through Tokyo-Ulaanbaatar charter flight, 2 staff at the Military hospital, family members of positive cases at the National Center for Cancer and Munkhada LLC. 

No new cases registered in rural areas in the last 24 hours. Currently, 9 patients were recovered and total 878 recovered. 398 patients are under treatment and 2 are under critical conditions. 

According to the research made by the specialists, the risk of spreading from Ulaanbaatar to rural areas is very high.
