In the first half of 2024, the prosecutor's office supervised 1,366 investigations of corruption, which is an increase of 9.5% compared to the same period last year. Of these, 167 cases were indicted and transferred to court for resolution. It includes:
- Using of authority and job position 120;
- Taking bribe 53;

Of MNT 2.2 trillion losses caused by corruption, MNT 1.6 trillion losses were compensated by the perpetrators. Also, assets worth MNT 42.8 billion of people involved in crime and legal entities were seized during the investigation, and assets worth MNT 1.8 billion were confiscated.
67.5% of corruption was registered in Ulaanbaatar city and 32.5% in rural areas, the highest in Bayan-Ulgii, Selenge, and Sukhbaatar provinces.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Mongolia, the crime of using politically influential job positions accounts for 79% of all corruption cases, while the crime of accepting bribes accounts for 17% and the crime of giving bribes accounts for 9.2%.
