As part of the restoration of publicly owned historical and cultural monuments, 14 restoration professionals of the National Cultural Heritage Center restored 165 pieces of historical and cultural movable monuments from a total of 30 institutions, including nine state museums, 18 provincial museums, two local museums, and one religious organization. It included- Paintings 41, Sculptures 32, Fabrics goods 28, Metal 17, Wood 16, Leather 11, Tanka 10, Paper 7, and Stone 3.
And followings were restored on site- 5 of the National Library of Mongolia, 7 of the Buddhist Center of Mongolia Gandantegchinlen Monastery, a total of 12 historical and cultural movable monuments; A total of 52 historical and cultural movable monuments, including 45 items from the United Museum of Selenge Province, 6 items from the Choijin Lama Temple Museum, and 1 item from the Museum of the Tuv Province.
In addition, 5 pieces from the Bogd Khan Palace Museum, 3 pieces from the Choijin Lama Temple Museum, 1 piece from the Fine Arts Museum named after G.Zanabazar, 1 piece from the Arkhangai Province Museum, 1 piece from the Khentii Province Museum, 11 pieces of historical and cultural movable items from 5 museums in total were restored.
On January 22, 2024, the exhibition "Restored monuments-2023" was opened in the exhibition hall of the National Center for Cultural Heritage and it is open to the public.
In the exhibition, 42 historical and cultural movable monuments restored in 2023 are presented.
