Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg invites President of Iceland to visit Mongolia

B.Battsetseg, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, met with the President of Iceland, Halla Tomasdóttir, during her official visit to Iceland.

During the meeting, Minister B.Battsetseg conveyed greetings from U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, and extended an official invitation for President Tomasdóttir to pay a state visit to Mongolia.

Minister B.Battsetseg highlighted the potential for expanding bilateral cooperation within the framework of Mongolia’s “Third Neighbor” policy. She noted the opportunities for strengthening ties in the areas of renewable energy, light industry, environmental protection, and tourism, while also emphasizing the importance of enriching the relationship with economic collaboration.

The Minister also expressed her hope that President Tomasdóttir would attend the upcoming Global Business Women Forum as Guest of Honor. The forum will be held in Ulaanbaatar at the end of August under the auspices of the President of Mongolia.
