Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Enkhtuvshin held meeting with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Jalgas Adilbayev on May 27.
During the meeting, the two parties exchanged views on the possibility of charter flight between Mongolia and Kazakhstan. More than 100 citizens of Kazakhstan have requested to return to Kazakhstan, and most of them are in Bayan-Ulgii province.
Over 1000 citizens of Mongolia who are in Kazakhstan have requested to return to hometown. Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Enkhtuvshin said “We have planned to launch a charter flight to Kazakhstan in middle of June. Because the isolation period of most citizens will finish in June. I am confident that the government of Kazakhstan will take complete control on Covid-19”.
Over 9,400 cases of Covid-19 registered in Kazakhstan, and more than 4,600 people have been recovered.
