In the contest, artists B.Sodnomdarjaa, B.Ganbaatar and A.Batzorig, who participated in the competition for the second time, made sculpture “Numur”.
Description of the sculpture: Mongolians believe that fox is a clever animal and protects their baby from any harm, and Mongolians put fox made by felt in the baby’s cradles.
“Numur” snow sculpture depicts a fox protecting the little boy from the blizzard of winter with her own body like a mountain, giving him warmth like a home, and loving him like a mother.
In the contest, 9 teams from South Korea, USA, Indonesia, Lithuania, Mongolia, Poland, Singapore, and Thailand participated.
