By the initiation of U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, and Commander-in-Chief of the Mongolian Armed Forces, the operation to discover sunken vehicles in Khuvsgul Lake, define their location, and remove them is taking place in Khuvsgul Lake. Currently, the operation is under progress in Turgiin Shanaa area of Khuvsgul Lake.
On August 9, the working group successfully pulled out the third vehicle. The vehicle is a YAG-6 model truck, the date of sinking and registration number are unknown. It was manufactured in 1936 at the Yaroslavl Motor Plant of the former USSR for military use with a capacity of 5 tons. The truck was successfully pulled out from a depth of 50 meters after 62 hours of operation.
