G.Tsoggerel, the General Director of the Mongolian National Song and Dance Academic Ensemble has been selected as General Director of Naadam festival’s opening and closing ceremonies this year, and started his work.
This matter was discussed during Naadam festival organizing committee meeting today. The committee also discussed a draft budget for the celebration. Members of sub-committees will be approved by next meeting.
Total budget of Naadam festival is MNT 2,9 billion, and MNT 400 million will be spent from the festival’s operational income.
On July 11 and 12 during “Night of Ulaanbaatar”, “Chinggis khan” band and “Bayanmongol ensemble” concerts will be held.
Press and public relations division of Mongolian government informed “U.Enkhtuvshin, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia and Chief of Naadam festival organizing committee, tasked to heads of sub-committees to perform planned works on time, and to organize wrestling and horse racing properly”.
