The 8th Mongolian Children’s Summer Games, a national event held every two years, will officially open on May 26, 2025.
This year’s Games will feature a wide variety of sports, including freestyle wrestling, judo, archery, shooting, badminton, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, checkers, table tennis, chess, 3x3 basketball, sambo, swimming, taekwondo, cycling, athletics, weightlifting, e-sports, traditional wooden wrestling, mixed martial arts, duathlon, jujitsu, dance, football, and boxing. Inclusive events such as para boccia, para athletics, goalball, checkers, special athletics, and special football will also be part of the program.
For reference, the 7th Games were hosted in Bayankhongor province, while this year’s event will take place in Ulaanbaatar.
