At the meeting of the regular spring session of the Parliament on June 17, the establishment of an honorary medal for the 100th anniversary of the People's Revolution was discussed.
Ts.Nyamdorj, the head of the Cabinet Secretariat, introduced the draft resolution to make a medal, and said “The draft resolution on the establishment of an honorary medal for the 100th anniversary of the People's Revolution is planned to make 150,000 medals. The cost of the medal is included in the 2021 budget. 100,000 medals were made for the 90th anniversary."
S.Chinzorig, Member of the Parliament said "I support this resolution in principle. The number of 150,000 is not enough. I want to reward the veterans who have worked hard for their country”.
The majority of the Parliament Members agreed that the draft resolution on the establishment of an honorary medal for the 100th anniversary of the People's Revolution should be discussed within the concept. The draft was referred to the Standing Committee on State Structure for initial discussion.
