Mongolia is hosting the Group K matches of The 2016 AFC U-16 Championship Qualifiers.
Yesterday, Team Mongolia lost for the first match with 17:0 against Team Japan which showed the difference in the level of football development of two countries. On the other hand, our team gained huge experience from the match against world-class team.
During the press conference held after the match, General Coach of Team Mongolia U-16, Vojislav Bralusic (Serbia) noted that Japanese boys showed us what professional football is about.
Vojislav Bralusic - Coach of Team Mongolia
Congratulations to Team Japan. I saw highest level of play for the first time since I arrived and started working here. Even we fully mobilized ourselves, the result was 17-0. However, the point is not important. We have full capacity to reach that level by next three to five years. As of today, we are too far from the professional football.
Yoshiro Moriyama - Coach of Team Japan
We played at high tempo against Team Mongolia. Two goals in the first ten minutes made the match more easy. Even though we have not showed our full play at the middle and end of the match, we are glad we won.
Team Japan earned three points from this match and started leading Group K while Team Mongolia will play for its last match against Team Hong Kong on Sep 18th.
