Today, B.Munkhjin, Deputy Foreign Minister, received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Mongolia Mahbub Uz Zaman.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mahbub Uz Zaman presented a copy of his credentials to B.Munkhjin, Deputy Minister, and took up his duties as Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Mongolia.
B.Munkhjin noted that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Bangladesh, emphasizing that Mongolia is committed to strengthening political relations with Bangladesh in the framework of expanding relations and cooperation with countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Ambassador Mahbub Uz Zaman said that he will pay special attention to expand Mongolian-Bangladeshi relations and cooperation, promoting cooperation in trade, economy, culture and tourism, and support the development of ties and cooperation between business organizations.
