U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, will work in New York on September 20-23 to attend the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, according to the President's Office.
The president will participate in general discussion and make a speech about Mongolia’s situation related to international relations.
U.Khurelsukh will also hold bilateral meetings with A.Guterres, Secretary-General of UN, and A.Steiner, Chair of UNDP, and some other Chairs and Heads of other countries.
His official meetings in the framework of the UN General Assembly will start from September 17 when the President of Mongolia holds an online meeting with H.Fore, UNICEF Executive Director.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 75th session of the UN General Assembly was held online in 2020. This year, Presidents of 71 countries and the Prime Ministers of 34 countries will attend in person.
