All missing mountaineers found dead

ULAANBAATAR (GoGo Mongolia) - Missing 17 mountaineers who climbed to the Otgontenger mountain (4008 meters above the sea level), located in Otgon soum of Zavkhan aimag, found dead. 

The rescue team of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) searched for the missing mountaineers for three days since Oct 23 and today they found the dead bodies of the last three mountaineers. 

The rescue and search operation was carried out in an area covers 160 thousand square meters.  

Earlier on Oct 21, a total of 27 people climbed to the Otgontenger mountain and only 10 of them were climbed down successfully while remaining 17 people went missing. 

The 10 people who climbed down first says: "The missing mountaineers reached the summit at 2:30 p.m and descended from the mountain after 30 minutes. Half an hour later, a snowslide occurred."
