His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Mongolia, Ettore Francisco Sequi today presented his diplomatic credentials to the President Ts.Elbegdorj.
After the credential ceremony, President Ts.Elbegdorj congratulated H.E. Mr. Ettore Sequi on becoming the Ambassador to Mongolia and expressed his hope that the Mongolia-Italy relations will expand.
President Ts.Elbegdorj emphasized the significance of Italian Foreign Minister's visit to Mongolia expected this April and hopes the Italian PM will attend 11th ASEM Summit happening in July.
In response, "I'm pleased to tell you that Mr. President's effort contributed greatly in expanding Mongolia - Italy relations. Italian FM said to accelarate the opening of Embassy of Italy in Ulaanbaatar, which would bring biliteral relations to whole new level" said H.E. Mr. Ettore Sequi.
He also said the head of the Italian Senate will attend the 9th Asia - Europe Parliamentary Partnership meeting, which will run this April in Ulaanbaatar. as well as willingness of Prime Minister of Italy's wish to take part in 11th ASEM Summit.
H.E. Mr. Ettore Sequi express Italy wants to make investments in Mongolia, and conveyed the greetings from Sergio Mattarella, President of Italy, Prime Minister, the head of the Senate and people of Italy.
"Italy - Mongolia have common values. There are many sectors that we can improve our cooperation, which will strengthen biliteral relations. Please give my warmest greetings to President of Italy, Prime Minister and the head of the Italian Senate." said President Ts.Elbegdorj.
