G.Zandanshatar: One-third of previous government retained to continue mega projects

On June 17, the plenary session of the Parliament commenced, during which Prime Minister G.Zandanshatar introduced the structure of his new government.

He stated, “In order to ensure the continuity of ongoing mega projects, one-third of the previous government has been retained. The principle of including representatives from parties with seats in Parliament has also been observed in forming the new cabinet”.

Newly appointed Ministers:

  1. N. Uchral – First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development
  2. S. Amarsaikhan – Deputy Prime Minister
  3. T. Dorjkhand – Deputy Prime Minister
  4. S. Byambatsogt – Head of the Cabinet Secretariat
  5. B. Battsetseg – Minister of Foreign Affairs
  6. B. Javkhlan – Minister of Finance
  7. L. Munkhbaatar – Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs
  8. G. Damdinnyam – Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources
  9. D. Batlut – Minister of Defense
  10. B. Batbaatar – Minister of Environment and Climate Change
  11. P. Naranbayar – Minister of Education
  12. T. Aubakir – Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection
  13. B. Delgersaikhan – Minister of Road Transport Development
  14. Ch. Undram – Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth
  15. E. Bat-Amgalan – Minister of Urban Development, Construction and Housing
  16. J. Enkhbayar – Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry
  17. E. Batshugar – Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications
  18. B. Choijilsuren – Minister of Energy
  19. J. Chinburen – Minister of Health
