World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s annual day of action ‘for children, by children’. Every year on November 20 – the anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child – over 190 countries around the world celebrate this day by highlighting critical issues affecting children’s lives and supporting the engagement of children and young people as advocates for their own rights.

In Mongolia, Ministry of Culture and UNICEF have jointly organized the concert titled #GoBlue where over 500 children were in attendance. The children got to meet their favorite social influencers Gremix, Kai and Temuulen in person and sang and danced together with the country’s leading young musicians and artists including 290, Armanbakhytbyek, Vandebo, 290, Uri mae, Sekstsagaanbogd and Wasabies.

The artists also gave their personal pledge the children to advocate for their rights as well as serve as a positive role model.
The leading sports stars including swimmer E.Ariuntamir, marshal arts fighter Anguuch, basketball league players B.Bilguun and O.Hulan, boxer B.Chinzorig, a national volleyball league player Kh.Khandsuren have shared their wishes for every child on World Children’s Day and called to work as ONE TEAM for child rights.
As a tradition, many leading corporate partners have also joined #GoBlue campaign by making commitments to child and family friendly policies at work and beyond as well as turning their offices and social pages blue in support to child rights.
UNICEF also lit the main Peace bridge blue for the first time in Ulaanbaatar to commemorate World Children’s Day.
