Today, General Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases D.Nyamkhuu reported “Yesterday, 373 people were tested and resulted negative to COVID-19. 58 citizens arrived through Zamiin-Uud border yesterday and 1 suspicious case was isolated and sample was sent to NCCD for test. Observation period of 164 people finished and no positive result was detected after 2nd test. Thus, they were transferred to home for isolation. Total 1124 people were tested since January 27”.
Head of Social Health Department, Ministry of Health, D.Narangerel stated “Coronavirus infection was registered in the region bordering Bayan-Ulgii province in Altai province, Russia. Therefore, Russia has decided to isolate citizens coming to Moscow from other regions for 14 days. The Mayor of Moscow pays tribute to doctors and medical staff working in the field of Coronavirus infection by providing free taxi services and free hotel accommodation. In Mongolia, total 1642 people are under isolation”.
