667,841 livestock died due to blizzard

Currently, 80% of the territory is covered with snow, and there is up to 100 cm of snow in some places. In 21 soums of Uvs, Uvurkhangai, Sukhbaatar, Dundgovi, and Dornogovi provinces, iron or ice blizzards have occurred.

As of February 18, 667,841 livestock died, and Sukhbaatar, Khentii, Dornogovi, Arkhangai, and Dornod provinces have the highest number of death rates.

Compared to the total number of livestock at the beginning of this year, the national average loss was 1%, Sukhbaatar province 5.3%, Khentii province 2.8%, Dornogovi province 3.6%, which exceeds the normal amount of loss.
