At the 45th Chess Olympiad, held in Budapest, Hungary, the Mongolian women's national chess team secured an impressive 16th place out of 183 participating countries. Meanwhile, the men's team ranked 62nd.

The women’s national team competed in 11 rounds, achieving 7 victories, 1 draw, and 3 losses, earning a total of 15 points (TieBreak1: 332.5 TB2: 27.5 TB3: 147).
