Deputy Minister of Mining G.Temuulen was appointed as one of three Board Members of Oyu Tolgoi from Mongolia. He sent his resignation letter to "Erdenes Mongol" LLC and it was decided under the legislation.
According to the Human Development Law, higher official of the Government is prohibited for being a Member of Board of mining companies.
G.Temuulen was appointed as CEO of "Erdenes Mongol" LLC as deputy director in 2009 and later appointed as Deputy Minister of Mining in December, 2014. Moreover, he was appointed as Secretary General of Mongolian Youth Federation in April, 2015.
