Today, parties from Mongolia and Japan signed Letter of Understanding to let Ministry of Industry to be responsible for industry and trade cooperation further in accordance with the Memorandum signed on May 13, 2014.
Signing ceremony was attended by the officials led by Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat and Mayor of Shizuoka City Heita Kawaktsu.
Letter of Understanding aims to contribute to the development and expansion of bilateral and mutually beneficial economic relations including foreign trade. Representatives of the Shizuoka City are paying visit to our country after the 7th Japan-Mongolia Joint Consultation with the Government and Private Sector on Trade and Investment.
After the signing ceremony, Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat and Mayor of Shizuoka City Heita Kawaktsu have exchanged gifts.
Moreover, Minister D.Erdenebat specifically met with the officials led by Mayor of Shizuoka City Heita Kawaktsu and discussed on implementation of secondary school student exchange program between two countries which purposed to develop the industrail park in Sainshand soum and to prepare qualified personnel.
