O.Batbayar: Mongolia has a risk of monkey pox transporting case

Heads of the Ministry of Health, the Third State Central Hospital, and the National Health and Medical Center reported on the condition of COVID-19 and Monkey Pox.

O.Batbayar, Adviser to the Minister of Health:

- According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the disease was first spread in West Africa, and 550 people in more than 30 countries have contracted the outbreak of monkey pox currently. According to the risk assessment of Mongolia, risk of disease transportation is high. The disease is contagious through reaching the wound site of the infected person, and in the first two days there are symptoms such as fever, rash on the face, hands and feet. 

The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued new guidelines for the disease, and we are currently developing domestic guidelines.
