D.Amarbayasgalan, Chief Cabinet Secretary, has presented the decision from the Cabinet meeting.
According to the decision of the Parliament, the State Committee for Port Revitalization now has a Minister. In relevance with the new Minister, the office of the minister was established, and the level of operation of the Port Authority of Mongolia was discussed and decided at the office level.
At today's meeting, the Minister of the State Committee for Port Revitalization made a decision to establish branches in four provinces; Umnogovi, Dornogovi, Dornod, and Selenge. It was established with the purpose of providing unified management of the port operations in these provinces. As a result, opportunities to establish relations with Russia and China at the same level, and to take action to eliminate the difficulties that arise near the border will be created.
