On July 8, 2024, the Mongolia Economic Forum began at the State Palace of Mongolia. The 14th Forum is being held under the theme “Go Mongolia” and will continue for two days.
During the forum, L.Oyun-Erdene, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, announced that L.Gantumur will be appointed as the Minister of Economy and Development. Thus, the Chairman of the Democratic Party will receive Ch.Khurelbaatar's job and will continue to work for the next 4 years.
Currently, there is no information about other ministers, and the name of the first minister of the joint government has been officially announced.
Last Friday, L.Oyun-Erdene was re-appointed as the Prime Minister of Mongolia. And the Prime Minister will form his cabinet and there were talks about forming a joint government after the election results.
The National Committee of the Democratic Party held a meeting yesterday evening and announced that they will join the government, and today T. Dorjkhand, the Chairman of the HUN Party, expressed the same position.
