Today, General Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases D.Nyamkhuu reported “On April 15, no new case of COVID-19 registered nationwide. Yesterday, 84 citizens were tested and resulted negative. 11 students from Russia were re-tested and 1 of them resulted
positive. Totally, 31 cases registered in Mongolia and 5 of them recovered.
No antibodies were detected in the blood serum of two people from Songdo Hospital. This means that these people are not infected with the Coronavirus. Serums of 5 people who were discharged from the hospital were stored in a bank, and re-analysis of serum showed antibodies to
the serum of one person. Surveillance and treatment research continues”.
Head of Social Health Department, Ministry of Health, D.Narangerel stated “Over 2 million people infected worldwide and half million recovered. In Mongolia, 1669 people are under observation. 198 calls received on Ministry of Health hotline 119 for 24 hours, and 40 of them were false calls”.
