Mongolian peacekeepers arrive home

ULAANBAATAR (GoGo Mongolia) - On Sep 14, Mongolian Armed Forces’ Sixth Moto-Shooting Battalion who successfully complete their duties in United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) arrive home.

In accordance with the decree issued by President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, peacekeepers awarded a “Red Banner Order of Military Merit”, two “Orders of Military Merit”, 36 “Military Medals of Honor” and 490 “Medals for Peace”. 

During the awarding ceremony, Chief of Staff of the President’s Office Z.Enkhbold said, “You, peacekeepers, have made a huge contribution to strengthening the position of Mongolia as the member of United Nations and the international community by Your invincible efforts, hard work, endurance, professional skills and high discipline, as well as excellent unified formation”. 

”Therefore, in recognition of your duties and contributions You have made to consolidating the integrity of Your country, state orders and medals are granted today in pursuance of the Presidential Decree”, he went on.
