UBIFF: "U.S Film Industry and Opportunity" workshop to be held tomorrow

ULAANBAATAR (GoGo Mongolia) - The 9th Ulaanbaatar International Film Festival-UBIFF (UBIFF) is taking place from October 10 to 15, 2017. 

This year U.S has been selected as the focus country. As part of the Focus Country, U.S Embassy and American Film Showcase presented award-winning contemporary American documentary, independent narrative films and two American feature films selected and awarded at the Cannes and other A list festivals on October 11, 2017. 

In addition, two film envoys will visit Mongolia as part of the festival: Tony Gerber, director, producer and Stacey Ferreira, leading entrepreneur of featured AFS film She Started It. As part of its aim to foster person to person diplomacy, director and producer Tony Gerber will conduct "U.S Film Industry and Opportunity" two-day workshop for the local filmmakers.

The workshop will be free of charge and it will take place on October 13-14, 9am-3pm at UB INN hotel & gallery.
