29,767 tons of seeds harvested nationwide

ULAANBAATAR (GoGo Mongolia) - In 2017, the country planted 271.8 thousand tons of seeds, 259.2 thousand tons of wheat, 102.3 thousand tons of potato, 75.7 thousand tons of vegetables, 23.6 thousand tons of oil plant and 47.3 thousand tons of fodder plants in 524.3 thousand hectares of land. 

As of Sep 12, the country harvested 29.7 thousand tons of seed from 36.0 thousand hectares of land, 13.1 thousand tons of potatoes from 1.3 thousand hectares of land, 19.3 thousand tons of vegetables from 1.8 thousand hectares of land, 3.4 thousand tons of fodder plants from 2.1 thousand hectares of land and 1.1 thousand tons of oil plants from 2.4 thousand hectares of land.
