Working group on service, cultural event, food and security for ASEM Summit, headed by Mayor E.Bat-Uul meet in April 19 at Governor's Office meeting hall. During this meeting they discussed number of issues regarding development of mobile application of Ub city information, map and ideas on monument for 20th anniversary of ASEM Summit, also catering service, safety of journalists and reporters coming for this event.
Initial version of mobile application for ASEM Summit delegations and foreign guests is available in Mongolian and English languages. The mayor obliged the working group to focus on the accuracy of information for 1471 locations running restaurant, entertainment, travel destination and cultural services, because the application will be useful for future tourists well after ASEM Summit is concluded. Meeting also decided to launch the mobile application in Chinese, Russian languages and necessary financing will discussed by National Council.
Approximately some 800-1200 foreign journalists, reporters will arrive in Mongolia to report and broadcast ASEM Summit and some 400-600 of these journalists, reporters will work 24 hours at the press center at Shangril-La.
Providing convenient working environment, and selecting catering service company for these journalists and reporters, along with food safety monitoring issues will be decided in the next few days.
