The LGBT Centre Mongolia has been organising dedicated events in Ulaanbaatar for the IDAHOT which stands for International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, since 2011.
IDAHOT-2016: the various projects by the graduates of the Centre's Youth Leadership Programme - 2016 as well as art works submitted for the 3rd IDAHOT visual arts competition initiated by the Centre in 2014 is being presented at the exhibition. The projects by young leaders and the art works encapsulate the spirit and reality of what it means to be LGBTI in Mongolia, as well as the extent to which are all able to enjoy, or not, our right to and freedom of expression around sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.
The exhibition is taking place from 10am, May 17 to 6pm, 22 May at the Pearl Art Gallery. The exhbition is open to all who suport LGBTI rights. No entry charge.
The official opening of the exhibition to start at 5 pm.
