A taskforce led by Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry D. Sumiyabazar is visiting the eastern region’s mining companies.
On May 5, the taskforce toured the operations of Petro China Daqing Tamsag LLC, and a meeting was held with Minister D. Sumiyabazar, Governor of Dornod Province M. Badamsuren, and Executive Director of PetroChina Daqing Tamsag Zyang Weidun.
During the meeting, Minister D. Sumiyabazar gave several suggestions and instructions, speaking about the recruitment of local exploration operators, transparency regarding selection procedures for subcontractors and procurement, and cooperation between the company and local administrators in terms of carrying out social responsibility projects. Minister D. Sumiyabazar met also met with company's Mongolian employees.
