Mongolian rescue team to Turkey arrived home

A Mongolian Search and Rescue team that provided search and rescue, medical assistance, services and humanitarian aid in the Republic of Turkey have returned home.

The rescue team headed by B.Uuganbayar, Deputy chief of National Emergency Management Agency, had been on duty since February 8, 2023. 

The Mongolian rescue team rescued a total of eight people (including three children) from under the collapsed buildings, provided medical first aid, and pulled out the bodies of 19 people (including six children).

Also, a medical team of 11 military personnel led by Colonel J.Sukh-Ochir provided primary and referral medical care and services to 72 children, 359 men and 218 women, totaling 649 people.

In addition, the humanitarian aid goods and materials sent by the people of Mongolia were handed over to the relevant organizations.
