"Car-Free Day-2024" will take place on September 21st, marking the 12th year that Mongolia has celebrated this event. The goal is to prevent traffic accidents and encourage a reduction in the use of cars, in line with more than 2,000 cities in 46 countries that also hold Car-Free Day.
On this day, markets and shopping centers will remain closed, and several streets and roads will be shut off to vehicles between 07:00 and 18:00, including:

- University Street
- Seoul Street
- Partizan Street
- Bumbugur market intersection
- Tumurchin Street
- Geser Temple intersection
- Sambuu Street
- Ankara Street
- Baga Toiruu
- Beijing Street
- Tokyo Street
- Zaluuchuud Street
- Chagdarjav Street
- Ambassador Street
- Olympic Street
- Genden Street
- Mongolian Children's Palace intersection
- Mongolian Post intersection
Motorcycles, electric bikes, scooters, and surrons will not be allowed to enter these closed roads during the event.
