Staffs of National Emergency Agency have been fighting the fires since Naadam festival with the help of citizens and individuals who are volunteering. Citizens are providing not only cash but also food, drinks, and tools.
A total of 22 fires reported nationwide as of today. 14 of which are burning since Jul 11th. Geographically, the fires broke out in Yuruu, Mandal, Khuder soums of Selenge province, Guvanbulag, Selenge soums of Bulgan province and Batsumber soum of Tuv province.
Our report team visited at Batsumber fire site where people were helping firefighters by cooking, bringing equipment and water.
