The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Gabit Koishibayev presented his credentials.

The welcoming ceremony was held on June 13 at Sukhbaatar Square and was honored by the guards of honor.

U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, congratulated him on his new appointment as Ambassador to Mongolia and wished him success in work.

During the meeting, two parties noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Kazakhstan, and exchanged views on expanding relations and cooperation in trade, economy, culture and education.

Both Mongolia and the Republic of Kazakhstan are landlocked countries. Therefore, Ambassador Gabit Koishibayev expressed his readiness to diversify foreign trade markets, ensure food security and seek new ways to supply goods.
