The Ministry of Education and Science is making legal reforms to create opportunities for schools close to home to be the best schools. It means any student has the opportunity to attend the best classes from the best teachers in the world and in the country regardless where the students live or what school they attend.
One of the examples is that students from all over the country are attending online schools such as Pearson for English, Eduten for mathematics and Medle. And there was a need to strengthen the electronic infrastructure to learn through these platforms.
Therefore, three sets of actions are planned and implemented in the field of strengthening the electronic infrastructure.
- Connect every school to high speed internet
- Provide teachers with computer
- Establish smart classroom in every school
On October 20, "Smart Classroom-e-Learning Evaluation Center" project was opened in collaboration with South Korea's NAVER Cloud LLC. As a result, 300 state-owned schools will have smart classrooms within this year. And students will access their lessons through internationally recognized platforms.
- As a result of improving e-infrastructure in the education sector:
- Access to education will improve and an equal environment of learning will be created.
- Difference of education quality will stop.
- All subjects of classes 1-12 can be taught using electronic infrastructure in smart classrooms.
- Electronic skills of teachers will improve.
- Each student will have the opportunity to study at their level.
- Teachers will attend module training at their workplaces.
- General Entrance Examination, Quality and Performance Evaluation can be organized online.
A payment of smart classrooms will be made by leasing with a 4 year term. And it will be a good example of public and private partnership in the education sector.During 4 years, the supplier will be responsible for equipment care and maintenance, as well as e-skills training for teachers.
