In the scope of celebrating the 95th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Russia, the sides have been working to organize political, business, educational and cultural events this year. The first cultural days of Mongolia took place in Russian Buryatia February 14-15.
Present were officials of General Consulate of Mongolia in Ulan-Ude, delegates from Mongolian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Education, Culture and Sciences, the Academy of Sciences, the Confederation of Mongolian Photographers, “Tumen Ekh” national ensemble, the academic military ensemble and Mongol Costumes LLC.
During the cultural days, a bilateral meeting ran on cultural and educational cooperation and collaboration of museums, alao a roundtable meeting between the academies of sciences. A Mongolia-Buryatia concert at P.I.Tchaikovsky Art College and “Beautiful Mongolia” photo exhibition were held.
From Buryatian side, the organizers and supporters were a deputy head of the government of Buryatia V.E.Matkhanov, minister of culture T.G.Tsybikov, a deputy of the People’s Khural A.D.Tsybikov, the dean of the Art College B.B.Turbyanov and others
