Stallion races just ended at the Khui Doloon Khudag in scope of Naadam Festival.
Out of 147 stallions raced the horse of G.Temuulen, native of Ikhtamir soum of Arkhangai aimag, came first in this much anticipated race.
The jockey for the stallion was 11 year old N.Purevbaatar with number 280. He is a 6th grade student at school 104 in Songinokhairkhan district.
This is the first time for him to race.
-First of all congratulations. How it felt when you were crossing the finish line?
-I was very glad.
-The second runner up was pretty close. Were you nervous?
-I was confident. I tried by best to win the race. It feels good.
-What was the advice from the horse race trainer?
-He told not to rush once in the lead. I did accordingly.
-How was the track? Is it very dry?
- It wasn't bad. The track was good.
-How many years are you racing?
-It has been three years. I like to ride horses, It feels even better to win.
-How many years are you racing for the Naadam?
-This is the first time ever at Naadam. Yesterday I raced at 4 year old horse category and came 12th. I am very glad that I came first at my first Naadam. Although I have been racing in local races, state naadam is very exciting.
