“Golden Compass Mongolian Tourism Awards 2015” to select best tourist companies will be held on December 18. Mongolian Tourism Association set to organize the event for the first time, in cooperation with City Tourism Agency and Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
Companies are allowed to submit their materials until November 25.
The event aims to:
- Award leading tourist companies and individuals, and promote them
- Encourage best performers of the sector and exchange best experience
- Regulate service standards in the sector
- Improve Mongolia’s tourism industry competitiveness and expand it to international market
- Promote tourism and provide information to the public
9 categories of awards:
1. Best event/festival
2. Best/Eco destination/attraction
3. Best investment
4. Best new products of an inbound tour operator
5. Best outbound tour operator
6. Best social responsibility initiative
7. Best eatery
8. Best accommodation
9. Best local NGO in tourism
The jury team will consist of 20 individuals who have many years of working experience in the tourism industry.
