Khuvsgul aimag center is connected with UB

Dec 7, opening ceremony for Murun-Un't fully paved 253.3 km to connect Khuvsgul aimag center with UB city held.

Utilization of this paved road has significantly reduced the transit time from UB to Murun and back. Before it took about 20 hours to travel, while now with paved road it will take about 10 hours.

State budget was allocated for paved road constructions for Umnugobi, Khuvsgul and Dornod aimags for the year 2014. While Umnugobi road was accomplished in autumn, it took longer term to finish Khuvsgul road. Due to lack of operations of contractor "Nasnii Zam" LLC, Dornod road is yet to see its completion earlier in the coming spring.
