On May 26, Mongolia signed the "Agreement between Mongolia and the Republic of Peru on the Exemption of Holders of Ordinary Passports from Tourist Visa Requirements" in Beijing, China.
The agreement was signed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the People's Republic of China T.Badral and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to Mongolia Luis Quesada on behalf of the parties.
According to the agreement, ordinary passport holders will be able to travel without visas for up to 90 days.
Mongolia established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Peru on May 30, 1997.
