L.Purevsuren, Minister of Foreign Affairs, made an official visit to PRC by the official invitation of the Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs during April 1-3.
During the first of the official visit the sides have discussed on the official negotiations at possible sectors of economic cooperation and other issues related to regional development. During the negotiations both parties have expressed their gratitude as China-Mongolia relations are adhering to Friendly Relations and Coorperation Agreement in all aspects of the cooperation increasing the political and economic trust and mutual understanding leading the cooperation of two countries to strategic partnership.
Moreover, the sides have agreed on importance of continuity of the high level visits and have conceptually agreed on upcoming events during this years.
Next on the agenda of the Minister of Foregn Affairs L.Purevsuren paid visit to Li Yuanchao, Vice President of the People's Republic of China and Gao Hucheng, Minister of Trade.
During the meeting, the sides have discussed the issues of intensifying the deals that were agreed during the official high level visit of President of PRC Xi Jinping in Mongolia, held in 2014, with more focus given to projects on transit transportion, energy, infrastructure and financial cooperation, proving the will to cooperate at both ends.
The sides have conceptually agreed that the trilateral mechanism of Mongolia-China-Russia is becoming the important direction of the cooperation and partnership. In accordance with this, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made an announcement that the sides to make studies on the possible incorporation of the Steppe Road initiative of Mongolia in to Silk Road Economic Zone initiative of China and establishement of the Mongolia-China-Russia Economic Corridor.
